Bring the world into your home!

Programs for Labo members in Canada, the United States, China, Australia, and New Zealand are carefully planned and implemented. Japanese families entrust their children to Labo's care, and host families also want a safe, quality experience, and Labo takes that responsibility very seriously. The safety and well-being of the participants is Labo's primary concern.

Sending Japanese Children Overseas

cookingAt least twice a year Labo sends groups of students for homestays, study, and camping experiences somewhere in the world. These educational programs can affect a child's entire life.

Labo exchanges are fun, but also educational. All of Labo's programs include:

Savings Plan

One unique aspect of Labo's exchange programs is a savings plan for Labo members. From the time children are very young, families can deposit a little bit of money each month... and when their child is older they will have saved enough for participation in one of Labo's exchange programs. This planning ahead is symbolic of Labo's exchange philosophy.feeding goat
